Stacey Shanklin is an educator, instructional leader, author, and passionate advocate for future-ready learning and Career and Technical Education (CTE). With a PhD in Education and extensive experience in teaching, instructional coaching, educational leadership, and workforce development, Stacey founded IgnitEd to inspire, inform, and empower students, families, educators, and community partners. Her work focuses on bridging the gap between education and the future of work by helping schools and communities create meaningful, student-centered opportunities that prepare learners for success in college, careers, and life. In addition to her leadership in education, Stacey is also the author of career-themed children’s books designed to spark curiosity, encourage exploration, and introduce young learners to future career possibilities through engaging storytelling and STEM-connected learning experiences. Through speaking, coaching, content creation, authorship, and advocacy, she is committed to helping others reimagine what is possible for the next generation.
